| While the staff was courteous and kept the place clean, my visit was still negative unfortunately. I brought my car in due to the failure of my brakes. 3 days into repairs I was told that even though I had committed to $1300+ in repairs that: 1) the ABS system needed to be replaced still. 2) that the break lines still could not be flushed properly because of this. I ended up taking my car to a dealership as the ABS was still under warranty. It was discovered that: 1) The ABS was 100 % functional, they showed me the diagnostics running normally. 2) that instead of installing a right front caliper as itmeized, Sunoco installed a left front caliper. 3) between the improper caliper and replacement of the master cylinder, the break lines were cross threaded, and therefore leaked. It took me over $1600 at the dealership to fix the original problem plus the additional problems caused by Newgate Sunoco, all together $3,000 between both places. The Sunoco team was polite, and kept the place very clean, but with regard to what I needed from them, they did not provide, and ended up costing me a lot of time, stress, and extra money unfortunately. |
